If the microprocessor records a change it will carry on for 5 more measurements in certain intervals. If all measurement reports error, the SafeFlow sends an SMS message to the dispatching using the GSM module. the text message contains the ID number of the pipe and the measured resistance value.
Every pipe has its unique ID number, which helps the dispatcher to find out the exact location of the broken pipe.
The SafeFlow is drived by microprocessor ATmega328P-PU, which measures the resistance of the pipe, then analysis the measured data.
The net consists of parallely connected, special resistance threads. The threads are securely planted in the wall of the pipe. If the wall cracks, the threads crack also and the he overall resistance of the pipe rises.
